Legal expenses insurance is a private insurance contract in which the insurance company is obliged to provide the services required to fulfill your legal interests to the agreed extent.
The insurance company will cover the following costs without coverage or up to the amount of cover agreed in the contract, whereby fines are excluded:
- Legal fees of the lawyer of your choice
- Witness / expert fees (not for out-of-court private opinions)
- Court costs
- Cost of the opponent, as far as you have to take it
- Bail bonds to protect you from imprisonment
